Sixty-six Indicted For Illegal Gambling

Summit County, OH - The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that sixty-six people have been indicted for illegal gambling operations. The indictments come after a two-year investigation into the organized gambling companies, centering around “Vegas Night” parties..
Ohio law allows non-profit organizations and charities to sponsor “Vegas Nights”, but also requires everyone working the events to be non-paid volunteers.
The sheriff's office says charges include engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, money laundering, grand theft, operating a gambling house and gambling.
According to the sheriff's office release, below are the names of the defendants indicted as a result of this investigation:
